Snorkeling Diver

The “Snorkeling Diver” is intended for those who are not interested in scuba diving. The main objective for this training is safety and environmental protection when snorkeling.

Voraussetzung:
  • Age: From 8 years
  • Children and adolescents the written consent of a parent or guardian
  • Self-reported health status, “medical history” *
  • Good swimming skills

* if in doubt provide a medical certificate!

Practical Skills:
  • Water habituation and the practical snorkel diving
  • Safety aspects and safety precautions
  • Taking the theoretical exam

After completing the theoretical and practical training parts, you will receive your certification as a “Snorkeling Diver” and what comes next?

Discover Scuba Diving

The introductory scuba diving experience “Discover Scuba Diving” is used to introduce interested individuals to the dive sport in order to facilitate the decision making for a diving course afterwards.

Requirement:
  • Age: From 10 years
  • Written declaration of consent of a legal guardian
  • Explanation of the general state of health *
  • Good swimming skills

* in case of concerns an additional medical examination!

Practical Parts & Theory Parts:
  • Necessary theoretical and practical knowledge
  • water habituation
  • introductory dive

Upon completion of the dive, a “Discover Scuba Diving” certification may be issued upon request, to prove that you have been taking part in the course.

Junior Diver

The  “Junior Diver” was created to allow young people the contact with scuba diving. In this
Course you learn basic knowledge in theory and practice.

Requirement:
  • Age: From 12 years
  • Written declaration of consent of a legal guardian
  • Valid medical fitness certificate *

* at least one medical history with the guardian and if there are any concerns about medical examination!

  • Theoretical and practical basic knowledge

  • Scuba diving

After completion of the theoretical and practical training parts you will receive your certification as “Junior Diver”

Elementary Diver

Introduction to scuba diving, basic elementary knowledge of diving.

  • Scuba training in open water

Upon completion of the dives, a certification “Elementary Diver” can be issued on request, which certifies you as diver under supervision.

Open Water Diver

The independent diver “Open Water Diver” or “OWD” represents a comprehensive diving education in theory and practice.

Requirement:
  • Age: From 14 years
  • Mental and physical fitness

  • Valid medical fitness certificate *
  • Good swimming skills

  • Snorkel diving
  • 6 open water dives
Theory parts:
  • diving rules
  • Snorkeling equipment (ABC equipment)
  • Demonstration of UW signals, equipment knowledge, diving physics, diving medicine and diving practice
  • Dive planning and dive calculations
  • Specials: Diving from the boat and diving at current
  • Handling and care of the equipment

After completion of the theoretical and practical training parts you will receive your certification “OPEN WATER DIVER”

Advanced Open Water Diver

The “Advanced Open Water Diver” is an advanced dive training in theory and practice to enhance the diving experience and increase safety.

Requirement:
  • Age: From 15 years to max. 20 metres
  • Age: From 16 years to max. 30 metres
  • Mental and physical fitness
  • Valid medical fitness certificate *
  • Good swimming skills
  • OWD or equivalent
  • At least 15 open water dives

* at least your own medical history and, if you have any concerns, an additional medical examination!

Practical Parts & Theory Parts:
  • Underwater navigation
  • night diving
  • elective dives (preferably deep dives)
  • extended education building on the content of the Open Water Diver

After completion of the theoretical and practical training parts you will receive your certification as “ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER”

Rescue Diver

Dive Supervisor

Dive Supervisor training allows you to extend your group leadership skills. The course builds the foundation for an optimal preparation for a becoming Instructor.

Requirement:
  • Age: From 18 years
  • legal guardian
  • Valid medical certification
  • Good swimming skills
  • Rescue Diver or equivalent
  • Rescue Diver oder Äquivalent
  • 60 dives and of these 40 dives must have been completed after completing level 2 according to ISO 24801-2
  • A minimum of 30 open water dives must include the widest possible range of environmental conditions to
    ensure that the student has as much experience as possible. Examples of more demanding conditions can
    be:limited visibility (horizontal less than 2 meters), currents (more than 0.25 m / s (about 0.5
    knots), cold water (below 10 ° C)
    If there are no such factors due to the local environmental conditions, the dive experience should be
    extended by a higher number of dives and / or by dives at greater depths (e.g., deeper than 30m).
Theoretical knowledge and skills:
  • Equipment; Diving physics; Diving medicine; Use of dive tables and dive computers
    Diving environment; Diving course and dive management
  • Communication, both below and at the surface
